Panel Hooks

The right mounting for every panel type

When mounting panels, everything revolves around the connection between the mounting hardware and the panel. Panel hooks are available in countless versions, each designed for specific situations. The choice depends on the panel type, weight, desired flexibility, and whether you want to be able to move or dismantle the panel later.

Within our range, you will find solutions from specialized manufacturers that are used daily by installers and project fitters in offices, healthcare facilities, schools, and public spaces.

Panel clamps for profiled edges

Panel clamps are ideally suited for panels with a raised edge or aluminium frame. Think of standard LED panels for suspended ceilings or acoustic panels with a metal frame. The clamp grips the edge of the panel, eliminating the need for a direct screw connection.

This type of panel mounting is popular for projects where speed is of the essence. You do not need to drill into the panel itself, which prevents damage and speeds up installation. Furthermore, the panel remains easy to remove for maintenance or reconfiguring the space.

When do you choose clamps?

Clamps work optimally when the panel has a rigid, profiled frame. For thin or flexible edgeless panels, other solutions are more suitable. Also, pay attention to the maximum load per clamp and match this to the panel weight.

Click assembly: fast and repeatable

Click mounting systems, also known as snap-in fasteners, offer maximum flexibility. The principle is simple: one part of the mechanism is attached to the cable or rod, the other part to the panel. By clicking both components together, the panel hangs immediately in place.

This click mounting system is ideal for environments where panels are regularly changed or moved. In showrooms, shops, or flexible office concepts, it saves you significant installation time. The connection is sturdy enough for daily use but can be released without tools.

Screw mounting for permanent installations

While click systems offer flexibility, screw mounting stands for stability. With screw fastening, the hook is screwed directly into the panel or frame. This results in a secure ceiling mount that will not accidentally come loose.

Screw mounting is the preferred choice for heavier panels or situations where the panel does not need to be moved. Hanging acoustic panels in meeting rooms or LED panels in hallways and reception areas: once the position is fixed, screw fastening offers the most solid solution.

Panel screw-in and panel cams

Within the screw fastening category, you will also find panel screw-in systems and panel cams. Screw-in hooks screw directly into the panel material or a pre-assembled bushing. Panel cams work with a cam mechanism that locks after screwing in. Both variants combine a firm grip with relatively simple installation.

Magnetic mounting: no visible fasteners

Magnetic ceiling mounting is gaining ground in projects where aesthetics are paramount. The magnetic attachment works without visible hooks or clamps: the panel appears to float against the ceiling or wall.

This solution does require panels with a metal backing or an embedded steel plate. The magnets themselves are mounted to the suspension cables or directly to the ceiling. For lighter panels, such as thin acoustic absorbers or decorative elements, magnetic mounting offers a sleek, modern look.

Loop mounting for direct suspension points

Loop mounting is the most direct form of panel attachment. A loop hanger consists of an eye or hook that is secured in the panel and into which the suspension cable hooks directly. This system requires minimal components and is therefore straightforward to use.

Ceiling loop hangers are suitable for panels that already have a suspension point or where you can install a mounting point yourself. The loop attachment is robust, easy to inspect, and works with virtually any type of suspension cable or rod.

Tailoring to your project

The choice of a specific type of panel hook depends on several factors: the panel material, the environment, the desired appearance, and the degree of flexibility required. An LED panel suspension system in a suspended ceiling requires different hooks than hanging acoustic panels from a concrete ceiling.
