Direct panel mounting for various applications

While suspension systems with cables and rails offer flexibility, loop mounting represents a deliberate choice for a fixed, compact attachment. The panel is mounted directly to the substructure or ceiling, without visible suspension components. This results in a cleaner look and is particularly suitable for situations where height adjustment is not required.

Loop mounting is found in office environments, meeting rooms, hospitality, and retail. Examples include acoustic ceiling islands that need to lie flush against the ceiling, LED panels in suspended ceilings, or wall panels in reception areas. The choice of a specific mounting system depends on the panel type, weight, and the desired installation and removal frequency.

Click assembly: fast and repeatable

Click mounting, also known as snap-in fastening, was developed for situations where panels need to be removed and replaced regularly. The mechanism works with a spring-loaded clip that clicks into a counterplate. You can install or remove the panel in seconds without tools.

This system is popular for LED panels in suspended ceilings and for acoustic panels that require access to installation spaces above. The click mounting combines speed with reliability: once clicked, the panel is securely fastened but remains accessible when needed.

When do you choose click mounting?

• With frequent access to the space behind the panel
• For LED panels that require periodic maintenance
• In rental properties where flexibility is desired
• For projects with short assembly times

Screw mounting: maximum stability

For permanent installations, screw mounting remains the most robust solution. The panel is attached directly to the substrate with screws, resulting in an immovable connection. This method is suitable for heavier panels and situations where vibrations or air currents play a role.

Within the screw mounting category, you will find both visible and recessed systems. With recessed mounting, the screw head disappears into the panel surface or is covered by a rosette. This results in a neat finish without visible fastening points.

Magnetic mounting

Magnetic ceiling mounting offers an elegant solution for lightweight panels on steel substructures. A magnet set on the back of the panel attaches directly to the metal ceiling profile. The result is a completely invisible mounting that is nevertheless easy to disassemble.

When using magnetic mounting, pay attention to the load capacity in relation to the panel weight. The holding force per magnet is stated in the product specifications; always allow for a safety margin, especially with acoustic panels which, due to their porous structure, can be sensitive to humidity and consequently weight fluctuations.

Panel clamps and hooks

Panel clamps grip the panel along the edge without the need to drill or screw into the material. This is valuable for panels made of glass, Dibond, or other materials that you do not want to drill through. The clamp is attached to the structure and holds the panel under tension.

Panel hooks work on a similar principle, but hang the panel from an existing profile or rail. They provide an intermediate solution when full loop mounting is not possible, but you still desire a compact suspension.

Panel cams and screw-in systems

Cam fastening utilizes an eccentric cam that builds up tension when rotated. You may be familiar with this system from furniture assembly, but it is also used in panel assembly where an invisible, detachable connection is desired.

Panel screw-in systems combine the robustness of screw mounting with the invisibility of flush mounting. The screw section disappears completely into the panel and the structure, leaving only the panel surface visible.

A complete range for professional installation

The loop mounting range includes products from specialized manufacturers supplying systems tested for load capacity, durability, and ease of installation. Whether you are installing a single panel or fitting out a complete ceiling, the right components make the difference in both the installation process and the final result.
